  • Courses will be offered in English or Spanish to accommodate your needs.
  • Courses will be held online with in-person assessments to test your knowledge.
  • Receive coaching and support from your college’s dedicated Pathway Navigators.

Course Outline

Mastery of courses will be determined through summative assessments based on the following performance indicators.

Digital Literacy

Basic Equipment Operations

I can safely operate electronic and mechanical equipment used in agriculture

Basic Equipment Configuration

I can safely set up electrical and mechanical equipment in agricultural tasks.

Basic Equipment Troubleshooting

I can troubleshoot basic electrical, mechanical, and software systems and communicate identified issues effectively.

Crop Production Systems

I can explain the fundamentals of plant science and crop production systems.

Tool Operations

I can safely use basic hand and power tools.

Applied Technical Reading

I can read and interpret agricultural industry documents.

Interpersonal Skills

How Do I Sign Up?

1. Choose Your Preferred College
  • Review the list of colleges currently offering the program.
  • Decide which college fits your location and needs.
  • All colleges offer flexible learning: learn on your own time, with coaching and testing as needed.
  • Each college has a dedicated liaison to assist with the registration process.
  • Contact the liaison at your chosen college for any questions and to start the registration.
  • Employees will provide necessary information to liaison to facilitate registration.
  • The liaison will guide them step by step through the entire process.
  • Follow the guidance provided by the liaison to complete the registration.
  • Receive the orientation date to start classes.
  • The program enrolls 25 people per session, with six sessions available per year.
  • Coordinate with the liaison to schedule your sessions according to your availability.
